ABOUT ME

Aiko Vapor is a Los Angeles-based vocalist and songwriter who specializes in pop, R&B, soul, and jazz.

Her musical journey began at home, deeply rooted in her Filipino heritage, where karaoke was a constant at family gatherings. This early passion for performance led her to the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music with a specialization in Vocal Performance.

Her training at UCSC was exceptionally diverse, spanning classical soprano technique, choral ensembles, and opera. She took the stage in several operatic roles, including Iris in Handel’s Semele, the First Spirit in The Magic Flute, and a Soldier in Elixir of Love Alongside her classical studies, she expanded her contemporary horizons as both a member and director of the award-winning a cappella group The Hightones, and spent over five years fronting the Cruz Patrol Band, delivering dynamic, multi-hour pop-rock sets across the Bay Area.

Currently active in the professional Southern California music scene, Aiko performs with premier vocal groups during the holiday season. She sings soprano with Totality Entertainment’s Jingle 5 and performs complex arrangements and choreography as an alto with Neptune Entertainment’s vintage girls' trio, The Sleigh Belles, on the Downtown Disney Main Stage.

As a solo artist, Aiko focuses on delivering high-quality live music through carefully crafted cover sets. Highly adaptable and intuitive, she prides herself on curating each setlist to perfectly match the unique energy and vibe of the room—whether it’s elevating an upscale dinner lounge, a corporate event, or engaging a festival crowd. Now, she is focused on bringing that energy to stages and events everywhere, with the goal of performing frequently across both Los Angeles and the Bay Area while working on original music to share with the world.

When she’s not on stage or in the studio, Aiko can be found traveling to new places, exploring different culinary scenes, or getting creative with visual arts like drawing and designing elaborate makeup looks. To unwind, she loves checking out new TV shows and relaxing with video games.
